About Us

P&F delivers comprehensive facilities management, using integrated systems and services, to support the University's teaching and research goals, its environment and strategic objectives of Learning, Discovery and Engagement. We achieve this throughout the Division in the core areas of service delivery, risk management, customer service, and resource and systems management.

In order to maintain and further improve the environment in which members of the university community study, work and live, the Division’s responsibilities cover a wide spectrum of essential services, which include the following:

	Asset Services - such as: building maintenance projects, programs, repairs fire safety grounds & ovals maintenance security, locks & keys & alcohol permits work request call centre - PF Assist - lost property
	Business & Systems - such as: P&F administration and IT support P&F financial & human resource systems P&F business improvement and safety management systems UQ Centre
	Campus Services - such as: cleaning, pest control, recycling & waste fleet vehicles furniture acquisition & delivery store, mailroom and courier services Gatton printery
	Construction - such as: alterations & refurbishment projects general construction projects - carparks, walkways, feasibility studies minor works projects new building projects complex special construction projects (large/complex)
	Deputy Director's Office - such as: campus parking & traffic management energy management sustainability - carbon strategy, environmental management
	Engineering Services - such as: campus infrastructure planning and augmentation electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, structural and civil engineering systems site & building floor plans technical support, drawings and records
	Planning, Space & Property - such as: master planning and site development plans for the University estate property & space management space analysis
