The west end balconies of GP South, levels 3, 4 and 5 will be closed off for the installation of anti-slip coating during the week of the 23rd November; and will occur between 7:30am until 4:00pm.
In case of an emergency, staff members on levels 4 and 5 can use the fire escapes in the main corridor on either side of the lift foyer. Level 3 offices 341, 340 and 339 will still have access to the fire escape located adjoining the balcony in an emergency situation. These installations will occur one level at a time.

Multi-level Carpark Closure
The entrance to the Multi-Level carparks (Buildings 98A & 98B) will be closed from 12am Friday 27 November until 8pm Sunday 29 November. The shutdown is required for maintenance on road surfaces and boom gates.
Alternative undercover parking in this precinct for this period can be found in the Warehouse carpark (under Building 99). Alternative open-air parking in this precinct for the period can be found in the Warehouse carpark (between Buildings 98A & 99) and in the Keith St carpark (opposite Buildings 98A & 98B). These works will not have an impact on vehicles exiting the carparks.

Minor Construction work - level 2 Staff House Building
Due to the impending demolition of the (demountable) Credit Union/TEDI building, we will be commencing minor internal construction work (in the space adjacent to the ANZ Bank,) at the Staff House level 2. MECU Bank intends to move in there, on completion of the construction work. Renovation work commences on Monday 2nd November, 2009 and hopes to conclude on Friday 20th November, 2009.
Please note that a part of the driveway area will become the builder’s site compound. There will also be some noise and dust consequent to the building operations. The builder will be attempting to keep these disruptions to a minimum.

Shutdown - Lake Fountain
The fountain in the main lake off College Rd will be turned off until further notice due to the current low water levels.
Information Notice - UQ Lake Aerator
A new aerator has been installed in the lake at the GP South end. It is to help aerate and move the sometimes stagnant water at the end of the lake. It is the final work to complete the recent construction on the corner on staff house and college roads.
Road Closure - Market Day 2010
Market Day 2010, will be expanding to include stalls and activities along Campbell Road As such, this road will incur a part road closure. Campbell Road will be closed from Campbell Plaza to the intersection of Blair Drive and University Drive.
Road Closures will be in place at 1am on Tuesday 23rd February 2010, and continue until 9pm on Wednesday 24th February 2010.
