The University of Queensland offers staff and students a free intercampus bus service which runs between the St Lucia and Gatton campuses. There is also a separate shuttle service that runs between St Lucia Campus and the UQ Long Pocket site. These services run Monday to Friday (excluding State Public Holidays).
Please note: These are NOT a public service and are only available to bona fide UQ staff & UQ students. UQ staff and students will need to show their UQ ID card as proof of eligibility to travel..
We would advise that wherever possible we run the service according to the exact schedule. However, passengers using the intermediate stops (between campuses) are requested to ensure that they arrive a minimum of 5 minutes prior to the allotted time or call and confirm their pick up.
** Changes to the 2015 Intercampus Bus Service
As from 5 January 2015, the Intercampus Bus Service will be a free service and tickets will no longer be sold. The use of this service is restricted to bona fide UQ staff and students. It is NOT a public service. UQ staff and students will need to show their UQ ID card as proof of eligibility to travel. A booking system will be put in place early 2015, to guarantee seating.
