The role of the Infrastructure Sub-Committee is to strategically plan the addition and replacement of the University’s capital stock and to oversee the development, review and revision of the Asset Management Plan. The Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor, as chair of the Sub-Committee, will discuss policy matters and major space management issues with Executive Deans and Directors, Research Institutes as required.

The Committee will be a source of advice to the Vice-Chancellor and University Senior Management Committee as it addresses the facilities and space implications of planning targets in the University Strategic Plan. It is in a position to make recommendations on the refurbishment, rehabilitation, adaptive reuse and maintenance of existing space and facilities and the addition of new space to the University's capital stock. It will be involved also in the operational aspects of space allocation and management.

To ensure the effective operation of the Sub-Committee, all submissions must be made on the approved Submission Template and lodged electronically to the ISC email.

The Submission Template contains guidelines, which reduce the requirement for the Sub-Committee to seek additional information:

Submissions to the Sub-Committee must be lodged by an Executive Dean, Executive Director (Operations), Director of Property and Facilities, Directors of Institutes or other senior University officers.

In 2013, submissions must be lodged by dates listed below.
Any submission received after the final day will be automatically be referred to the following ISC.
