What is a Security Audit?

Upon request, Security conduct a detailed examination of security issues associated with buildings on University sites. After any reported incident (e.g. theft, damage to property) a Security Audit is recommended to improve security in the area to prevent reoccurrence.

What do I do if security is compromised or there is unauthorised activity in my area?

Report the incident to Security

Examples of compromised security or unauthorised activity:

  • Theft of physical and/or intellectual property
  • Damage to physical and/or intellectual property
  • Verbal and/or physical assault/abuse/harassment

How do I organise for the security of my area to be reviewed or audited?

  • Submit a request through to your Supervisor/Manager.
  • Your Supervisor/Manager will submit request through to the Manager Security (email: ms@pf.uq.edu.au).

How do I get CCTV footage or building access reports for an incident in my area?

  • Submit a request through to your Supervisor/Manager.
  • Your Supervisor/Manager will submit request through to the University's Right to Information & Privacy Coordinator (email: rtip@uq.edu.au)
